THE RACE SPOKEN BY PROTAGONISTS
Sky Icarus shows the Vertical Run Experience through athlets voices.
The Tower, composed of 50 floors and 202 meters high, was designed by architects Arata Isozaki and Andrea Maffei, inspired by the endless Column model of Constantin Brancusi, which represents the metaphor of a building that knows no limits in its aspiration to reach the sky .
A peculiarity of the Tower, unique in Italy, is in fact the extreme verticality that has been achieved, thanks to the superimposition of a series of modules six floors high each, which are theoretically repeatable to infinity. Each module is covered with a double glass skin with a slight curvature to the outside in order to give the building a feeling of vibration of the façade while looking upwards. Finally, the envelope of each module consists of slightly curved structural cells with triple glazing.
The organization of the internal spaces, with a total extension of about 53 thousand square meters, is rational and characterized by extremely flexible plans in the modulation of the areas planned for work and for the wellbeing of the people. Each floor of about 1,100 square meters is completely illuminated by natural light allowing comfort and unique panoramic views.
In addition to the spaces dedicated to the offices, technical areas have been provided for the refreshment area and a prestigious hall that connects with the subway.
